Brewers,
Thanks all for coming down to last weeks meeting at DTC. I had a great night but wont be drinking that much high gravity beer again for a while
Thanks Hilly for the detailed discussion on brewing high gravity beers and letting us all have a go at some of your cellar range. You can get a copy of Hilly's talk at the link here.
A few things to note

Autumnfest now locked in for May 9 (was originally May 2 but has had to move by one week). As per last year, Ongie will be supplying some fantastic BBQ. This will be at Knobsy's house in Hilbert. It makes for a great day out. Family all welcome (https://www.facebook.com/events/2812997898763327/)
Interclub IPA competition with Northern Brewers is now confirmed for May. The format is a true club vs club competition, with each club putting forward 6 beers. To choose which beers are put forward to represent the club, we’ll be doing a Peoples' Choice round at our 12 May meeting, with the top 6 beers going through to the competition itself for BJCP judging, and a chance to win West Coast Brewers the title of Champion Club.
The theme for the competition is IPA. Allowable BJCP styles are:
- 12C – English IPA
- 21A – American IPA
- 21B – Specialty IPA (Belgian, Black, Brown, Red, Rye, White and NEIPA)
- 22A – Double IPA
The comp details are slightly different to our normal comps so check the FB post for more info (https://www.facebook.com/groups/westcoastbrewersmembers/permalink/2718313251582002/)
